Paul Cash
Managing Director
Paul has over 20 years experience in IT having commenced his career in IT at Protek in 1989,
starting in software development, moving through sales, consulting and running the software
pre-sales team.
Following that he ran the software development division, winning the largest
software development deal in Protek history and instigated the first large
Java development project in the UK.
Paul co-founded Partners in IT in 1996, consulting for the first two years with HP in the start up phase, followed by a year running operations and marketing before becoming MD.
Laura Donnelly
Finance & Operations Director
After completing a Business Studies course at college Laura commenced her career in the Group Remuneration Dep of Ferranti International. Prior to joining Partners in IT Laura worked for a specialist bespoke software company in several roles including Office Management, Quality Control and Project Accounting and Administration. Laura has worked in the IT industry for over 12 years and has considerable knowledge of IT projects and processes.
Laura joined Partners in IT in 1998 and has responsibility for the Operational Management of the company including scheduling the assignments of our consultancy team. In October 2003 Laura was appointed Finance & Operations Director and additionally took on the role of Company Secretary. Laura continues to own responsibility for scheduling of consultant assignments and is also responsible for the financial management of the company and the day to day operations of the business and the running of the office.
Alan Johnson
BSM Consultancy Manager
Alan holds an Msc in Digital Systems from The University of Central London and has a background in Digital Systems design and Real-Time Software Development.
Before joining Partners in IT, Alan worked as a Software Developer and then a Network and Systems Management Consultant for another large HP OpenView Partner.
He joined Partners in IT as a Senior Consultant in 1998 and after a number of roles in the company now runs the Business Service Management Consultancy practice.
Primarily responsible for presales, delivery and training in the following technology areas: Operational Monitoring, Service Dashboards, Reporting and End user Monitoring.
Grant Macdonald
Managed Services Director
Grant was one of the founding Directors of Partners in IT. Grant has worked in the IT industry
for over 20 years and in this time has provided a full range of IT services covering Presales,
Solution Design, Implementation, Training and Support services of customer's environments with both HP and IBM.
Prior to Partners in IT Grant was the Southern Service Manager of one of HP's largest resellers,
managing over 20 consultants, delivering consultancy and support services across both
UNIX and Intel management technologies.
Grants responsibility at Partners in IT is to create, drive and manage the delivery of
managed support services to an ever expanding Service Management marketplace.
Andrew Richardson
Process Consultancy Manager
Andy leads a team of consultants who provide ITIL Service Management
consultancy services, from reviews to full implementations.
Andy has been a service management consultant for 16 years and has worked for Partners in IT for 12 of those years. He has a total of 20 years in the IT industry and started out as a software engineer in the defence and air traffic control industries.
Paul Jenkins
Account Director
Paul is one of the founding Directors of Partners in IT.
A Business Management Graduate from the University of Central England Paul has 24
years experience in IT sales and account management. His first 7 years after University
were spent in Hewlett Packard and then 3 years with an HP reseller before helping set up
Partners in IT. Paul specialises in developing long term customer relationships so that
some of our largest accounts today have a history of working with Paul that dates back to
the early days of the company.
Paul also takes responsibility for our relationships with System Integrators
and new business in the Midlands and North of the UK.
Bill Roper
Account Manager
Bill graduated from Plymouth University in 1999 and has over 10 years
experience in IT sales and account management.
The first 5 working years were with a Hewlett Packard channel partner
and the last 5 years with Partners in IT.
Bill's focus is in developing new accounts in the South of England and in common with our philosophy of fostering long term customer relationships he also manages on-going account relationships with the customers he has brought into Partners in IT.
